Isa 7:14 Therefore the Lord Himself will give you a sign: Behold, the virgin shall conceive and bear a Son, and shall call His name Immanuel

Isa 9:6 For unto us a Child is born, Unto us a Son is given; And the government will be upon His shoulder. And His name will be called  Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.

This Mighty God unclothe His glory and put on flesh - John 1:14

And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, (that is Immanuel – God with us) and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth.

Therefore, God also has highly exalted Him and given Him the name which is above every name, 10 that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth, 11 and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father (Phil 2:9-11).

Luke 2:14 "Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace to men on whom his favor rests."People cannot be at peace with each other until they are at peace with God.

Luke 2:7 (Is. 7:14) and she gave birth to her firstborn, a son. (Mary had other children after our Lord). She wrapped him in swaddling clothes and placed him in a manger, because there was no room for them in the inn.

No Room in the Inn

There might be no room in the Inn, is there any room for Jesus in your heart?  This is the same Jesus who is gone beyond the Manger and is standing at your hearts’ door and knocking for you to open so as to come in and sop and dwell with you – will you open your heart for Him today? (Rev 3:20).

Who is at the center of your Celebration?

With all the hullabaloos about Christmas, you will not enjoy your Christmas if Jesus is not at the center of your Celebration.

The story is said of a little 10 year old boy.

‘He said the last time I celebrated my 10th birthday, I received lot of gifts from Mummy, Daddy, Grandma, Grandpa and my friends, now we are celebrating Jesus’ birthday, nobody is giving any gift to Him”.  He asked his parents!!

The best gift you can give to Jesus today should be nothing less than committing your heart to Him.

In return, He will give you peace, joy in the Holy Spirit and eternal life because Jesus is not a debtor to anyone.

Giving: John 3:16 “God so love the world and He gave ..” Christmas is synonymous with giving. In Matt.2:11 The wise men demonstrated to us the act of giving.  They gave Gold, Frankincense & myrrh.  · Gold symbolize royalty· Frankincense was for fragrance· Myrrh is an ointment or spice for burial — quite significant that it would be given to a young child (Beyond the manger).

These gifts provided the financial resources for Mary and Joseph’s flight to Egypt. Beyond your gift or offering today, is to give your heart to Jesus by accepting Him as your Saviour and Lord.

Jesus is the reason for Christmas.

He has gone beyond the Manger to Calvary Cross and through the grave and rose up the third day to give you life.

He has gone to prepare a place for you, and He is coming back again for those who have prepared themselves for His appearing.

Will you accept Him right now into your heart today? Have a blessed Christmas. Joy to the world, the Lord is come. ….. Let every heart prepare Him room.
